Invisible Ropes which hold you back
Once a man
visited to a Zoo. He was amazed to see all types of animals. There he saw some
elephants. It was first time he could see the elephants closely. He got little
confused to see the elephants tied with rope. He had a question in this mind
that how such a huge and powerful animal tried with a rope which can be easily
broken. He approached to a person who was looking after the elephants. He asked
the person “Can’t the elephants break the ropes they are tied to. The person
smiles and takes the visitor to elephant’s camp. There were many young
elephants which were tired with same ropes.
The visitor gets more confused. The
care taker of elephants starts telling him how they catch and train elephants.
He tells that when they catch any young elephant they tie him with the rope
that the young elephant cannot break. The young elephant doesn’t have enough
strength to break it. After numerous attempts the poor elephant starts
believing that it can never break the rope. After getting his ideal shape and
power the elephant is unable to break the rope because it is conditioned to do
so.
The care
taker explains that once they are conditioned to believe that they cannot, they
don’t. The elephants keep tried with the ropes whole life. We work to condition
their minds. We don’t work to condition their bodies. Conditions are very
powerful to shape their lives.
Moral of the
story is very meaningful and deep. We humans are tied with invisible chains and
ropes. Since childhood we are conditioned to believe what we can or we cannot.
These invisible chains are more dangerous. We are slaves to belief system. We
can break any chain and rope. We can rise above the adversities. Today is the
day to recondition your mind. You believe that you can do. Surely someday you
will do it. Don’t give negative affirmations to your spouse, children, friends
and co-workers. Try to spread positivity around you.
